Swami Vivekanand was an Indian Hindu Saint and main discipline of 19th century Saint Ramakrishna. A true nationalist to core on who took both modern education and excelled in it and went deep into great Hindu scriptures under the guidance of greatest Guru of his time, who was revered by everybody, he is said that he talked and basked in glory of greatest of all mothers THE GODDESS KALI. Vivekanand gained true knowledge of Hindu dharma, Philosophy, Yoga and Meditation, he is considered to be first one from India to cross the bridge and preach Hindu dharma to westerners in their own language. He brought great fame and name to Hindu dharma which has got down under the centuries of Moghul and then British rule. His most famous speech at the parliament of World’s Religions in Chicago in 1983 which began as….. “Sisters and Brothers of Amerika” and one in which he spoke about greatness of Hindu dharma and way of life is considered amongst the greatest speeches ever in the world. Vivekanand preached of a dharma which taught true human service bereft of any cast, creed or color and said service to one’s motherhood, brotherhood and society is supreme service of God.
