(Under the Vedavyaasa Restructuring Sanskrit Scheme) Depts of Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology of S.D. College, GMN College, Arya Girls College, Ambala Cantt, BAR Janta College, Kaul, MPN College, Mullana & RKSD College, Kaithal jointly organized a national webinar on the occasion of “षवि-पूवति एवम् सेवा- वनवृवि” of “Dr. Sunil Sharma, Head & Associate Professor, PG Dept of Physics” on the following topic- “Physics of Panch MahaaBhoot”, “पींचमहाभूत ीं क भौवतक (भौवतकशास्त्र ) in which 47 participants from various states & institutions participated & Prof (Dr.) Dheeraj Kumar Chaturvedi, Former Head, Department of Physics, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra* as the Resource propounded the Indian perspective of Science along with its history and then brilliantly propounded the various aspects of matter and Panch Mahabhootas and their atomic structures from Shaastric tradition and western science. He talked about three laws of motion and their origin in Vaisheshik philosophy too. Dept of Sanskrit introduced Dr. Sunil Sharma and duly acknowledged his contributions to the academic circle and then raised different issues of Mahabhootas from various perspectives including Parinaamvaad etc. Prof (dr.) Lalit Kumar Gaur, dept of Skt, KUK, Prof (Dr) Avinash Shrivastav, Nalanda University, Dr. R K Gupta, Dr. Rajendra, Dr. Chanchal Sharma, Dr. Anita, Dr. Vishal Bhardwaj, GNDU, Amritsar, Dr. Roopika Bhanot and others shared their views. Later on Dr. Vishambher Das , head, dept of Skt, BAR Janta College, Kaul proposed the vote of thanks. It is really sad that we could not record the proceedings due to technical issues.
