GIST OF THE TODAY’S DISCUSSION 08-09-2018 ON TWO QUESTIONS OF GANESH-VIDYA
(वेदव्यास संस्कृत की पुनः संरचना योजना के अधीन) Dept of Sanskrit, Hindi along with SDHDRT Center in academic collaboration with SDA Sanskrit College, Ambala Cantt organized Panel Discussion on the following two questions related to {गणेश-विद्या) – Q1 “How relationship between sound of an alphabet and its pictorial form can be explained or what is justification of sound of an alphabet and its pictorial expression?” किसी भी भाषा के उच्चार्यमाण वर्ण-ध्वनि एवम् लिखित-वर्ण के आपसी सम्बन्ध की क्या व्याख्या है? Q2 “What possible explanation – social, psychological and philosophical can be given for the pictorial form of an alphabet of any language?  किसी भी भाषा के लिखित-वर्ण की आकृति की सामाजिक-दार्शनिक-मनोवैज्ञानिक क्या व्याख्या सम्भावित है? in which 36 participants discussed various issues with the panelists – Prof. S.M Mishr, Prof. Ramakant Angiras, Dr. Vishnu Dutt, Dr. shyam Nath Jha, Dr. Amandeep Kaushik . These questions come under the preview of GaneshVidya as dictation of Mahabharat was taken by Shr Ganesh. Many issues , like- form of a syllable, probable relationship between sound and alphabet, design of an alphabet were discussed from vedic, tantrik perspectives along with Korean experiments done in this field. Idea of arbitrary and god given relation was rejected as syllables or symbols are manifestations of consciousness. They are manifestation of collective consciousness of different societies. Shloka (1-10 )of Uttar-Ramacharitam of Bhavabhuti was also discussed with curiosity. Tantrik understanding about the whole process was also discussed. Details of discussion can be watched on YouTube.

With deep regards,
