GIST OF THE TWO DAYS SHORT TERM COURSE ON “PHILOSOPHY OF KASHMIR SHAIVISM – A STUDY OF 36 TATTVAS & CONCEPTS” 11-12th APRIL, 2019.
Under the VedaVyaasa restructuring Sanskrit Scheme, the course was successfully conducted by Dept of Sanskrit, in which Mr. Saurabh, Mr. Manish, Mr. Vishal, Mr. Surender, Ms. Astha, Mr. Chetan, Ms. Nancy along with Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Dr. Uma Sharma, prof. Meenakshi Sharma, Dr. Jai prakash, Mr. B. D. Thapar participated and learnt about Kashmir Shaivism. A power-point presentation was made to explain the concepts and 36 elements of Kashmir Shaivism. it took lot of time to clear the concept of Shiva in mythology and in philosophy because students were aware about the mythological Shiva only. But it was quite interesting to clarify the distinction between the two concepts.
