REPORT OF DISCUSSION SESSION Held TODAY (19th January, 2019)on the topic – IDEA OF HEALTH MECHANICS IN SANSKRIT- SHAASTRAAS & MEDICAL SCIENCES (From Bhoot-Shuddhi to Bhoot -Shidhi)” “संस्कृत-शास्त्रों एवम् चिकित्सा-विज्ञान में स्वास्थ्य-यान्त्रिकी का विचार (भूतशुद्धि से भूतसिद्धि तक)” organized Under The VedaVyaas restructuring Sanskrit Scheme of dept of Sanskrit & SDHDR & T Center. Discussion was initiated by comparing definitions of health given by WHO and Sanskrit texts. Dr Jaiprakash Gupt presided over the discussion and presented his views on Ayurvedic health idea, and Dr. Joginder on health in medical sciences, dr shyam nath jha on Tantrik health, Dr Ashok on Yogic health, Dr Harmohan on Religious practices and health, Sh Prashant Dutt Health and cosmetic industry,, Dr Vijay Sharma on idea of health in Sant Baani, Prof Meenakshi on issues of health and modern life style, Sh Manish , Sh Navneet, Sh Harpreet presented views on attitude of young generation regarding health. Dr R K Gupta, Panchkula shared his ideas about health on the basis of Bhagvadgita and quoted various shlokas through video conferencing. Dr Gaurav Sharma talked about medical astrology based health issues via video. Discussion started with a ppt presentation on the issue.
