A Succinct Note about Discussion held on 29 September, 2018

Under The VedaVyaasa Restructuring Sanskrit Scheme, Dept’s of Skt, Hindi, Home Sc, Skt Sahitya Parishad, SDHDRT Center organized 2 hrs discussion on DECODING ZEN & ZEN STORIES जेन एवम् जेन कथाओं का निष्कूटन/उद्घाटन which was presided over by Dr Shyam Nath Jha, Head, Dept of Jyotish, SDA Skt College and 9 students along with Dr Gaurav Sharma, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Dr Jaiprakash Gupt, Sh Umashankar, Sh Anil Mittal deliberated upon the topic. A ppt presentation was made on the issue by skt dept in which Zen, koan, sota, ध्यान, ज्ञान, ज्ञेय, zen way of responding, outlines of Zen, Zen stones, zen stories etc were discussed. Students read out the stories from the books and all tried to explain, explore , understand the meaning of these beautiful unusual stories which are not the part of modern fragmented personality oriented literature.

Stories taught all of us not to react but to respond in life situations and at the same time life can not be understood by intellect alone , it needs be understood with intelligence otherwise humanity will be hurting itself without knowing how to handle intellect.
