द्वितीय संस्कृत शास्त्रधारित क्रीड़ोत्सव एवम् सैन्य अवस्कंद प्रदर्शन

२०२० (᭭क᭠ध -यु᳍, अ᳡ारोही-यु᳍, हि᭭त -यु᳍, चᮓ᳞ूह , ब᭠दीकरण) 2nd Sanskrit Shaastra Based Sports Festival cum Section Attack Performance – 2020 organized today 6 February, 2020, Thursday (under the Vedavyaas Restructuring Sanskrit Scheme) by depts of sanskrit, NCC, physical education, Hindi & SDHDRT center of SD College, Ambala Cantt which was presided over by Dr Someshwar Dutt, Director, HSA, Pkl & *Dr Vishnu Dutt, principal, SDA Skt College was guest of honour. Dr shyam nath Jha, Dr Joginder Rohilla, Dr chiman lal, Dr rajesh phor, Dr paramjeet Kaur, Prof Renu Rohilla, Dr piyush Aggarwal & PI staff of 2nd HR Bt Ncc graced the occasion by their esteemed presence. Both ncc boys & girls participated in five sanskrit shaastra based games and then section attack demonstration was performed. An introduction was given about Mahabharat based these games which very useful for mind & body workout without any cost. There foot work & other skills were explained & demonstrated. These games are extremely good for group coordination or for team work, especially in armed conflicts. Dept of skt has proposed to introduce these skt shaastra based sports in ncc army camps (subject to CO’s yes) and also to organize an inter college skt shaastra based sports festival in near future. An edited version of section attack including issuing of orders, weapons, positions, different formations, signals & extended line Dhaavaa or attack, taking prisoners, reporting back to officer etc were performed wonderfully well by cadets. Dr Vijay Sharma conducted the stage & Dr Shashi Rana proposed the vote of thanx. Refreshments for Participant cadets were sponsored by Dr Piyush Aggarwal a committed sanskritist and friend of skt dept. On behalf of Skt academy Dr Someswar Dutt awarded appreciation certificates to cadets for promoting Skt Sports & for their sportsman spirit too. Dept of skt expresses it’s heartfelt thanx to Mr Sandeep Kumar, an ex RD cadet for his unconditional help & support to make this event a success.
